This morning I purchased this iBook called "Responsive Web Design" (brought to us by A Book Apart: Brief Books for People Who Make Websites), it was literally the ONLY book that came up when I searched for responsive web design, but fortunately, the exact one I was looking for anyway. What Happens During an Internet Blackout for the Internet Dependent

When Internet service goes down, it's at best an inconvenience. If you rely on it for business, like Dirigo does, it is pretty major.  And if your servers go down, it quickly costs big money (not – none of our servers went offline). Here are my thoughts on our current outage - a break in a fiber optic cable in Vermont that interrupted internet and digital phone service for almost 350,000 Time Warner Cable customers in New England, including Maine. Trouble Location: Brattleboro, VT.  Reason: Hurricane Irene clean-up.
